What if you spent years of your life seeking spiritual enlightenment, but were looking in the wrong place over a long time? It's happening right now to millions of seekers around the world.
That's why Dr. Robert Forman has written his revolutionary book. Told in often poetic prose, it offers new direction for people looking for a sane and healthy spiritual pathway in our increasingly confusing world.
Traditional spiritual models are giving seekers a wrong and frustrating impression about spiritual enlightenment. By exploring his own 39 year experience of spiritual enlightenment, Dr. Forman offers a remedy to folks who are:
Convinced they don't have the right stuff to achieve enlightenment in this lifetime.
Disillusioned by spiritual teachers who don't live up to their lofty self-portraits.
Worried that choosing a spiritual life means leaving their everyday life behind.
Hungry for a different way to be, but unable to express it.
Through metaphor, humor, vulnerability and achingly beautiful prose, Dr. Forman's book offers new found hope to spiritual seekers everywhere.

Hannah was born and raised in Denmark into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (or LDS). Her upbringing was centered around God and she became very dedicated to the LDS faith feeling deeply in her soul that it was the ultimate truth. That was until she had been married for six years. Ed was born in the US and came from an LDS background like Hannah. Genealogy brought them together as they are ninth cousins. How exactly they met is a rather complicated story and involves an ad in the paper, letters sent across the Atlantic that were lost for six months, meetings with grandparents, pictures and letters between Ed and Hannah, and a telegram. They first met in Missouri in the summer of 1980. Ed proposed after only six days and for some odd reason Hannah accepted. They were married five months later and Hannah moved to Missouri where Ed was living at the time on a goat farm. It was only after the wedding that Hannah found out that Ed was not as dedicated to the LDS faith as she was.
Most of us don't get what we want in our lives because we sabotage ourselves: We procrastinate. We resist. We don't follow through. We don't do the things that we know are in our best interests. The end result is a life of unfulfillment and disappointment. It doesn't have to be that way. When we eliminate the guilt, shame, and self-loathing deeply-embedded in our unconscious mind which generate our self-destructive, self-defeating behaviors, our world changes for the better: We start attracting people and circumstances that cooperate with our goals and propel us towards the manifestation of all our hopes and dreams. The way to eliminate our guilt, shame, and self-loathing is to esteem ourselves and forgive ourselves. The way to esteem ourselves and forgive ourselves is to esteem and forgive others. Forgive To Win!'s Forgiveness Diet is a structured program that teaches us how to do this. It's not complicated. And it works! By consistently practicing a daily regimen of thoughts, actions and exercises devoted to accepting, forgiving and being of service to others, our self-esteem increases, our self-sabotaging behaviors decrease, and we experience greater opportunities and more positive outcomes in all realms of our lives.

The Great Comforter is a book that will turn fundamental Christianity upside down. Its message seeks to restore the original intent of the ministry of Jesus two millennia ago: to reveal the divinity of mankind. Based on a transformational mystical experience by the author, this book attempts to provide "proof" of our oneness with God through analogy, poetry, short essays, logic, practical observations, and revelations in consciousness. The Great Comforter cuts through every religous belief system to unearth the nucleus of truth in all of them, the truth of who you really are.
There are many other writers to whom this knowledge has been revealed, but in their writings they dance all around the truth out of fear, without ever fully expressing it. This author has no such fear. She has experienced the truth of her being and has garnered the courage to express it. Follow along through each chapter as she carefully lays the ground work for understanding the startling conclusions that follow. The Great Comforter is a book that you will want to read again and again. You will take something new away from each reading.

What I Learned Under the Sun is about how you can be overwhelmed with blessings on top of blessings, but if you turn from God in your life, your marriage, anywhere, you make wrong decisions in life and disasters follow. A journey of love sanctified by the Holy Spirit can still turn to deception, adultery, evil, and wickedness beyond comprehension. But if you turn back to your faith, it can end in a true Cinderella story that could only be influenced by a higher power. This book will inspire married couples, divorcing couples, and couples with children in the family court system to really take a hard look at what is happening to our children when they become hostages of the system. But above all, this is a book for people looking for hope. Find a way to fight because when you give up, the enemy wins, and this is an enemy that is undermining the very fabric of our great nation-the family.
By facing death as a two-time cancer survivor, Seth David Chernoff learned to experience the fullness of life. In his award-winning new book, A Manual for Living: Reality, A User's Guide to the Meaning of Life, he offers straightforward guidance for achieving lasting happiness, overcoming fear of death and finding true purpose.
He has lived his message, and pulls no punches as he writes about the hard subjects of death, illness, fear, finding balance, our toxic environment, our perception of what is real, our finances, and our need to accumulate.
The author recommends using a single chapter at a time as a guide to the current demands of our life. Because Manual for Living: Reality covers so many topics that vitally concern our lives, this approach makes sense, especially if we are facing the final journey, or have a loved one who is going through a reversal or transition.
Chernoff writes, "We each have a path and purpose in life, a destiny as unique as our own fingerprints, yet we often live lives of petty obscurity and quiet desperation, ignoring our truth. It is our prerogative to find our purpose and fulfill it. The loss of a life is not as devastating as the loss what could have been, of the dreams left unfulfilled and passions undiscovered."
LaVerne’s current metaphorical writing of “The World’s Luckiest Journal” has taken her message of dedication and belief in oneself a step further. She believes, and urges her readers, to not only rely on ‘luck’ as a matter of destiny or human phenomenon, but she also considers luck as a starting point in an individual’s pursuit of his or life success and happiness in life by making efforts to reshape his or her experiential realities of life.
Thus, the principles of individual, community, and organizational social responsibility are relevant in understanding LaVerne’s publication of “The World’s Luckiest Journal”—a metaphorical piece relevant in our contemporary society. In other words, our luck is not just our God-given talent, but also our luck to find those around us who are willing to guide and guard us, advise us, and play some role in order to see us work toward achieving our goals in life. Here lies the meaning of humanism, social responsibility, and happiness which LaVerne attempts to impress upon us and our sensitivities as human beings.
Traditionally, the back cover of a book contains some description of the author’s credits, perhaps a short biography, and the author’s picture. Below those are endorsements by some distinguished figure or authority in the book’s subject. This process has been, and will be. But this book steps away from this tradition and the norm of publication, and in fact is challenging any kind of tradition and authority or fame as egoistic aspects of writer, instead giving authority to the reader and the reader’s endorsement. Your endorsement is important as a part of the unity of consciousness. There is no difference between you and some “recognized authority” upon any subject. All you need to do is think, and try to find a connection between your inner self and the external knowledge. This is what the book is about.
This essay by Helen Keller expresses her deep gratitude to Emanuel Swedenborg, the Swedish seer, who had a profound influence on her spiritual life. In it she talks about the importance of love and truth in a world filled with materialism and selfishness, and the joy that comes from true understanding.
Her great advice on how she would help the world is to have people read Swedenborg's writings and thereby overcome the many problems of the human condition. She states, "It would be such a joy to me if I might be the instrument of bringing Swedenborg to a world that is spiritually deaf and blind." Her words are interwoven with photographs of her life and quotes from Swedenborg on spiritual topics. This book will be a treasure for readers who already know and respect Helen Keller and an inspiration for those who do not.
This is a remarkable story. A newly retired schoolteacher goes to live in the countryside in the County of Clare in western Ireland.
There he meets and gets to know a recent immigrant, an enigmatic character by the name of Gunna Dan.
The hapless and helpless visitor begs to be told what life is all about in his new adopted abode and what it is that gives meaning and purpose to our existence here on planet Earth.
What follows is a powerful exposition of discussion and argument. We witness a revelation of thoughts and ideas. We experience the pursuit of knowledge close up. We take part in a journey that leads us into new worlds of enlightenment and understanding; of purpose and meaning; of wisdom and kindness; of truth and spirituality; of religion and Christianity.
And all of this happens within a wonderful medley of memory and reminiscence; of history and culture; of art and science; of philosophy and mysticism.
The presentation of viewpoints and arguments is daring and evocative, to the extent that readers will be delightfully challenged to accept into their minds the glorious importance of our personal existence here on planet Earth.
Author Felicita "Terry" Robinson found herself at a spiritual crossroads as she was faced with the daunting task of uprooting herself and her family from their native Jamaica. For her, writing her prayers down gave her a sense of solace and the strength to accomplish her goals.
In her new book, Seven Letters to Heaven — A True Story of Faith and Answered Prayers (published by iUniverse), Robinson shares with readers seven of 21 personal letters of prayer she wrote as a way of communicating to God to seek His help with the small day-to-day problems she was experiencing. After looking back on her letters, she realized that not only were her prayers answered, her faith was also strengthened, leading her to wanting to share her experience with others.
"I have always felt that there was something missing that I needed to do spiritually other than being a good Christian," said Robinson. "I realized that the actual publishing of my personal letters was the missing piece that I needed, not only to help others, but in order to help me grow spiritually."
Taking place during the last four months Robinson was in Jamaica prior to relocating to the U.S., Seven Letters to Heaven is about the trials and tribulations that came as a result of leaving home to start a new life, and the problems inherent with moving from one country to another. The book focuses on Robinson's written "letters of prayers" to God, sharing her day-to-day problems as well as poems and biblical quotations, and finding peace through her powerful faith.
The story behind Seven Letters to Heaven is a simple one; however the message is very powerful. This book will take readers on a walk of faith that shows God can truly become a real friend to anyone and most importantly, He does answer prayers, in His own way, in His own time and at His own will.

An unorthodox personal tale of both tragedy and transcendence, My Life After Life confronts timeless questions concerning what happens to our loved ones and ourselves after death. The journey began for Doctor K Paul Stoller one evening in 2007 when he received a phone call from the state police that his 16-year-old son Galen had been killed three hours earlier at an unguarded railroad crossing. Dr. Stoller and his mother, Galen’s beloved grandmother, were driving from Santa Fe, New Mexico to a charity banquet in Albuquerque. In shock, they turned around immediately and headed back to Santa Fe. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Stoller’s son appeared and eventually began to communicate with him in dream states. Keenly aware of their emotional bond during his son’s life, Dr. Stoller would soon realize just how powerfully that bond could express itself. Confused at first, plagued by disbelief, and overwhelmed with grief, Dr. Stoller experienced difficulty in accepting what was happening to him, both the stress of the loss and the stress of the contact. Galen had to demonstrate that it was truly him reaching across cosmic boundaries to sustain contact with his father.
Eventually convinced of this reality, Dr. Stoller began journaling hundreds of pages of communication from Galen about his new circumstances, which led eventually to this book, dictated by Galen and recorded by his father. Stoller’s only comments in this revelatory account appear in his Editor’s Notes at the end of each chapter.
Leadership Dash: Breaking Through the Finish Line is a thought provoking and igniting work that inspires leaders to answer their true call in life and create a pathway to legacy. Dr. Williams artfully integrates substantive theory and principles together with spiritual and practical. Readers are challenged to abandon old leadership paradigms while embracing new ideologies around relationship, connection and sacrifice. Whether you are a seasoned leader, new leader or interested in becoming a leader, Leadership Dash is the book for you. It masterfully gets at the heart of how people become leaders of influence.
From the Author: "When we pursue the enlightened axiom, "know thyself," which concerns such abstract notions as love, success, truth, happiness, and so on, then studying another person's list--their ways, laws, "secrets," steps, etc.--seems to me an incongruous way to help ourselves. Why? Precisely because it is their (the authors) list, and to "know thyself" implies that we do our own thinking. Therefore, "it, cannot be taught, cannot be learned by rote, like multiplication tables. Yet "Self-Help" books not only endure, but thrive. Fine. Whatever works. I certainly claim no authority on the matter, and I state this unequivocally, not despite what I have written; rather, because of what I have written.
As to this book, it is, I suggest, less of a "Self-Help" book and more of a handbook of inquiry. My primary contribution can be found in the wit and wisdom of the persons (i.e. Einstein, Buddha, Emerson, Michelangelo, C. S. Lewis, Virginia Woolf, Richard Feynman, Montaigne, Socrates, Goethe, etc.) and the proverbs chosen. My reflections on the quotations in these pages are simply that: my particular interpretations of the ideas and insights presented, which the reader may or may not find useful. My aspiration for those that take up this book is that its content will induce--or stimulate--contemplation and introspection; or, in a word, thought."
Life can be experienced as a great play — sometimes a comedy, sometimes a tragedy, sometimes an epic, sometimes a satire, but always a play. We can think of ourselves as the main character in our own story. Author Peggy Rubin brilliantly uses traditional theatre as a metaphor for living life more authentically and joyfully. To understand our lives as a sacred art form, Rubin traces the roots of theatre to ancient rituals that celebrated the eternal nature of the soul. She provides the tools to tap into the nine powers of sacred theatre so that our lives can resonate with our highest purpose, including The Power of Incarnation, The Power of Story, The Power of Place, The Power of Now, The Power of Expression, The Power of Point of View, The Power of Conflict, The Power of Audience, and The Power of Celebration. "Playing the play of life is a daring adventure," says Rubin. "It takes courage, focus, excitement, and intention to stop just letting our stories happen and instead enact them with verve and delight." Here she invites readers to take the stage of life and play their story for all it is worth.
